What is Sand Casting?

Sand casting utilizes sand molds to create non-reusable forms, making it ideal for large-scale workpieces. Our capabilities enable efficient high-volume production, while its low tooling investment also makes it suitable for short-run projects.
We utilize green sand, no-bake molds, and cores to create complex shapes from steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and various metals like aluminum, nickel, and titanium. While sand casting produces a rougher surface finish, we have the capability to machine-finish parts, achieving dimensional tolerances of ±.003”.
We supply both machined and rough castings to industries worldwide, with applications including impellers, valves, pump components, forging dies, and support beams.
We handle lot sizes from 100 to 100,000 units and offer stocking programs for efficient inventory management. Contact us today to learn more about our sand casting capabilities or request a quote for your next project.
